Weber's kettle barbecue rotisserie includes a heavy-duty electric motor, a wooden rod handle, and (more importantly) a counterbalance for smooth turning and less motor wear. When your turkey is too heavy for the rotisserie, the rotisserie turns until the heaviest part of the bird gets to the top of the rotisserie. To prevent this problem, just slide the counterbalance up and down on its handle until your turkey turns smoothly and gently, grilling to a delicious golden brown. Works fine. Does not make for a tight fit where extension sits atop the kettle causing for a harder time to manage temperature. Make sure to really watch the temp the first couple times you cook with it.

This is a nice add on to a great product, the Weber Kettle grill. I used the Rotisserie to make a pork roast for my In-Laws and everyone loved it! It was new out of the box and I had never cooked a roast in my life. It came out perfect. I had to fine tune the bracket mount that hold the motor so the rotisserie would turn without binding on the side. The bolts were tightened down before the alignment was checked apparently. The 4 tabs on the spacer ring needed slight adjusting to set right on my grill. Works fine now.

The rotisserie was brand new; in great shape, easy instructions to put together....not to mention the absolutely GREAT food it cooks!!!

The weber electric rotisserie is the best way to cook chicken and beef roast so far. I have had rotiseries for gas grills but nothing compares to charcoal. Good job weber.
